Description

Etching on Paper

In Skin-Diver, A blue silhouette of a diver with an oxygen tank passes through the middle of the image, in front of a turquoise and orange background that is reminiscent of a coral reef. The interplay of the diver and ground make it difficult for the viewer to know if they are observing from above or from the side. Is the diver descending or traversing across the page? A line of blue bubbles trails up, away from the diver and off the top of the image area.
