Leading to M.S., MA, and Ph.D Degrees in Most Areas of Modern Biology

Fellowships, Assistantships, and other means of support are available to cover tuition and living expenses.
Stipends range from $1800 to $3500 for the academic year depending upon the stage of graduate training.
Applicants who have a suitable background in chemistry and physics, but minimal training in biology, will be given an opportunity to make up prerequisites.
Housing for married and unmarried students is available both in University facilities and off- campus.

Facilities. The Life Sciences Department is housed in a new air-conditioned building with laboratory facilities for superior teaching and research endeavor. In addition, several nearby natural areas provide opportunities for field studies with unique ecosystems.
Close cooperation with the Department of Chemistry, Physics, and the Computer Center renders available the talents and facilities essential to contemporary biology.
