Campus Revue

Campus Revue, 1983

As ISU expanded in size and programs in the 1980s, so too, did the list of professional and honorary societies. With more and more degrees offered, ISU gained an increasing number of student groups and honor societies geared towards specific professions such as: Accounting, Health and Recreational, Public Relations, Health Science, Nursing, Home Economics, and Math. While the list of professional groups expanded, other student groups began to emerge, including the first Ally group for LGBTQ students called the Gays, Lesbians, and Friends group which started in 1980.
